Neelesh Tripathi is an Associate member of Institute of Actuaries of India and Lead Actuarial Specialist at Mercer Consulting (India) Private Limited.
Neelesh is passionate about actuarial valuation and developing models for employee benefits and social security schemes. He has around six years of domestic and international experience in pension and employee benefits consulting, including accounting, funding, projections and plan design. He has worked with clients in a number of industries in India and Indonesia. He is also responsible as lead specialist for Pension in US valuations.
Previously, he was an analyst in M L Sodhi Actuarial Consultancy, responsible for actuarial valuation of Indian employee benefit schemes like Gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment, Interest rate guarantee etc. He also prepared a cash flow model for pension for IndAS19 valuation and improved a model for gratuity and leave encashment to include more variation in assumption and experience.
